Education:
Academic degrees in political science from Norway and the U.S 1977-82. A subsequent international career with assignments in i.a. Finland, Hungary, Denmark and the Balkans left me with many of my dreams and wishes fulfilled, except for a deep-rooted wish to work with my hands as a sculptor.
In 2001 I turned my life around and started an education in sculpting - graduating in 2003 from the Academia d'Arte in Firenze, Italy - with artist Patrizio Travagli and sculptor Simone Azzurini, and in 2007 from the Aarhus Academy of Art in Aarhus, Denmark, studying bronze sculpture with sculptor Thomas Andersson and clay art with ceramicists Helle Hansen, Kim Holm and Kjeld Slot.
